The Great Depression Now
I do not think the country will ever go into another great depression. Since the United States has been through one before, they are more ready to stop the crash. I am not really worried about it because I hope that the government is going to not let it happen. If there was a great depression I would have to make a lot of sacrifices. They would include everyday activities like going to the movies and going out to eat. If my parents lost their job then I would have to live with less food, but as long as I don't lose my job then I could still do things. The author feels like the world would look very similar if not better in a Great Depression. I kind of agree because people are already learning how to live with saving money, and buying less.

Simpsons Episode
The Simpson's episode had a lot of facts about the 1920's. It was correct about many things. Some things I thought might even be accurate that I was not sure about. There was only a couple things that were not accurate. Overall though, I think that This Simpson's episode did a good job outweighing the correct things with the inaccurate things. The episode was really good, and will help me remember certain things about the 1920's. The speakeasies and mob activities were portrayed very well throughout the episode.
The one scene that would need to be changed to get rid of almost all of the fictional stuff is the way they came upon the prohibition law. If i was making this scene I would have had all of the committee sitting around each other to discuss the prohibition law rather than women force the men into doing it. The women did not have much say in the 1920's so this was inaccurate. Also, I would have had them made the men all decide to put it in as an amendment rather than finding it as a law that already existed. The punishment would also not be to be flung off in a catapult. That was just added for comedic reasons.

True Americans
I feel like Americans should not give up their freedoms during a time of war. They are fighting to keep those freedoms, so why would they have to give them up? However, I do feel like they should realize that there is certin things you should watch out for while in a war. Certin boundaries that you should not overstep such as trying to stop the war. I feel like they may need to be limited at certin times, but overall I do not thing they should be given up completly at times of war.

!!Spain Kills 100's of U.S Sailors!!
Spain made the first strike on our beloved country. Without any Instigation Spain went and blew up our peacefull boat that we had docked in Cuba. We were only there to help out some of the poor and needy people in Cuba. And for no reason Spain Sabatoged our boat to explode! There were many casualties to relaxing U.S Sailors, and even more Americans were injured or effected from the explosion emotinally and physically. This gruesome act must not go unpunished!
